Strautmann
B.Strautmann & Sohne GmbH & Co (BSL) are one of Europe's leading manufacturer of agricultural feeding and transport equipment.
Established in 1930 by Bernard Strautmann the company is still family owned and run by the third generation of the Strautmann family (Klaus Peter, Wolfgang and Heinz Bernard). The Strautmann manufacturing facility is situated in the foothills of the Teutoburer forest approximately 30km south of Osnabruck.
Production buildings cover over 30,000m2 in area, with 220 employees guaranteeing high quality production techniques and an innovative outlook.
With effect from 1st January, 2010, Ruston's Engineering Co. Ltd (RECO) took over the sales of Strautmann products in Great Britain. RECO is a family owned and operated company, which was formed in the mid 1950's and whose roots go back to the agricultural manufacturing company F T Ruston & Sons. Today the company is under the management of the fourth generation.
